Community Letter 07.2022
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in…
Dear friends and family,
It’s me again, sending you another community letter from the middle of many emails, Whatsapp messages, and open tasks… Yes. They pulled me into day to day operations of a company one more time.
Every good business strategist needs to do operations from time to time to synchronize his ideas with what’s happening in the field. Sometimes in my career, I become a company’s last resort when change is too hard. I call it a Ninja project.
With the board’s vision of moving ERNYKA Holding to the next level and unleashing its potential, a company of nearly a thousand people needed nothing but a ninja project. Nowadays, working in the Human Resources department, restructuring the holding of over 30 companies inside out is my mission. That’s why I got into operations. Because there, I could make small changes that will lead to a beautiful leap for the company.
Perhaps one of the best ideas I mapped into the managerial scene is Nietzsche’s notion of “becoming who we are.” Companies need to become what they say they are. In this case, I’m making ERNYKA holding, a “Holding” that holds a controlling interest in the securities of other companies, not to be a super large company of many shared services and projects.
Todo that, you need to have a master structural map for all subsidiary companies of the holding. You also need to be calm, ruthless, weapon-savvy, unorthodox, and agile. Hence, it would help if you adopted a ninja mindset.
On another note, we have successfully wrapped up Max Holding’s Stakeholder Management project with the company’s general partners and PR executives. Using the tools we developed together Max is now able to inform and communicate with its key stakeholders both in the private and public sectors as well as local authorities.
At MIKA, we also did what it seemed to be impossible. For the past 6 months, we have been working on creating a community of potential buyers in one of the half-finished buildings of the company. With the theme of Demistifiying Knots, we successfully gathered over one hundred enthusiasts in the building while entertaining them with a gallery of contemporary arts, a fully finished demo floor, cigars, live music, and so on.
Aryana Accelerator also hosted its first community of talented Afghan refugees in Iran. At Aryana, we are still learning to make betters ways for the Afghan talents to better work and make startups in Iran.
