Sharif University of Technology’s Entrepreneurship Center hosted a Startup Weekend in Tehran from June 25 to 27. To empower the community, Reza Ghiabi has been a volunteer mentor at the event.
Industrial, electrical, and computer engineering students participated in the three-day event, according to Iran Daily’s Thursday edition.
Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event, which will be attended by developers, designers, marketers, product managers, and startup enthusiasts who come together to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups.
All activities followed the same basic model: Anyone was welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers.
The weekend culminated with presentations by local entrepreneurial leaders with an opportunity for critical feedback.
