Dear friends and family,

I have spent my weekend in a resort in the middle of Ramsar's rain forest, where I had the chance to reflect on what I have learned this past month. In between August's Iran holidays, there were lots of opportunities to share. This month I interviewed with Charles Lafage of TEDxStockholm about TEDx values and how they are expressed in Iran today. We have also chatted about my personal TEDx story.

On the 2nd of August, Vahid Zamani organized the 6th Oppmake Heroes meetup. At the event, I shared my latest article discussing instead of what we want to do, how life is about our reactions. Read more about Oppmakr Heroes >>

At the Oppmakr Institute, we just finished the Middle East Fintech report 2019 together with our partner Efma. As a social responsibility service, Iran Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Tehran has asked the institute to join the board of partners for their Women Entrepreneurship Program. We are adding our network of mentors to entrepreneurs to their instructor list. On the other hand, Ghasedak Ventures's investments are doing well, and I'm having rounds of meetings with them to help them accelerate. Idearun also is working on expanding its international market, to export software development skills.

I also have excellent news for those who are familiar with the Idea Designers magazine. If you are not, the magazine is a fantastic bilingual collection of ideas from thoughts leaders. It covers various topics, from traveling to design and philosophy. I'm lucky to be among the editorial board along with Majid Erfanian, Mohammadreza Ketabi, Sara Foroutan, and our Chief Editor, Navid Khaasteh.
