Dear friends and family,

It’s June 3rd, and I just found half an hour to sit and write to you last month’s newsletter. Why? Because it finally happened and “Shahou” has been born.

He is now 20 days old (2 days in the picture) and has already taught me many lessons. So I have started to learn to be a father.

Let’s review what else has happened this past month.

At TEDxTehran, the team is doing great and the community responds super amazing to the digital TEDxTehran events. On the 22nd, we had our second TEDCircle themed “Life at its fullest”.

Don’t forget to book your ticket for the upcoming TEDxTehranSalon in a few days, where Farinaz Lari, Arndt Pechstein, Farzaneh Ghods, and Rozita Shojaei open new mind doors for us.

At the Oppmakr Institute, we have started to work with Digikala —the most significant e-commerce startup in Iran, for its “future leaders” program. We are also wrapping up our researches during the COVID-19 times to publish them for our community.

We’re also helping INOTEX Stage for the third year in a row. This year we are going to host a digital event for mid-August 2020. INOTEX event is the largest of Iran’s innovation eco-system. Here is another opportunity to collaborate! If you are interested in giving an online talk at the event, let me know! Just reply to this email with the topic you have in mind.

This month I also finished uploading my online Farsi book to the internet. “4 Seasons of Opportunity Making” is a book for those who want to get a better understanding of the ideas of the TED speakers, Barry Schwartz and Simon Sinek.

The book is available online for free in this address. >> I’m going to end this letter whole I think I can go on and on about what an extraordinary we are living in. The COVID situation taught us a lot and I believe we are starting to have the chance to apply what we learned. See you next month!
