I hope my letter finds you well. How was your January? What’s new? What have you learned this month? More and more, I hear back from you each month with inspiring letters, new ideas, thoughts to get involved in collaboration and mutuality. I can not emphasize enough how wonderful it is to hear back from you. So let’s see what happened this month!
Dum duraaruuummm! Kare Anderson’s book “Opportunity Makers” is now available in Persian with my translation 🙂
It took me two years from the day Kare sent me the book to translate it. In her message to Persian readers, dear friend and intellect Kare Anderson describe the essence of opportunity making:
“I am honored that opportunity maker, Reza Ghiabi, has helped make this opportunity happen where you readers can discover the gratifying power of being instrumental in supporting the better side in others. In so doing, you can become even more noble role models, something needed in both our countries. Finding ways to recognize sweet spots of shared interest with others, especially with unexpected allies, has been key to my having a meaningful, more impactful, and happy life with diverse others in ways that generate greater collective opportunities for those I meet and thus for me. I am eager to hear and share stories about how you all, the readers of this book, learn and use ways to make your life better, with and for others.”

We need to connect groups of people, companies, and even business models more than ever. At Shadzi.club we are connecting sports trainers to their audience, at Hamysheh.com, publishers to books readers, at Switch.ir, car sellers and buyers, and at tarh2tarh.com, young architects to construction companies.
At Post Bank, we are running a stakeholder analysis project to make sure everyone involved is truly involved! With this project running, we will be able to communicate with different audiences of audiences to engage them most.
At our beloved TEDxTehran, while doing our housekeeping tasks in the winter break, we are changing how we spread worthy ideas more than ever. After seven years, we felt that we need to move from an event-based to a project-based organization. This will make TEDxTehran more powerful, effective, and focused.
Approaching life as an entrepreneur
Approaching life as an entrepreneur affects how we make decisions every day. I think implementing these principles in life will result in a more meaningful and useful life for us. In an interview with Afra Campaign at the Azadi Innovation Factory, I tried to explain entrepreneurial thinking basics. Watch the video here.
I also wasted a bit of time this month, which I regret.
I also have my regrets about some events and projects initiated this month. I went to so many meetings knowing that there is no sweet spot of shared interest, yet I hoped for something to happen. Something like 12 hours of meetings and preparation for a potential member of the Oppmakr Institute.
I look forward to hearing back from you, and I wish you a wonderful journey in the coming month. Everything will be fine as long as we stick together.
