First of all, let me start by saying that I’m amazed by the number of comments and replies I get from you on the noted that I put in the Persian blog. I’m glad that we had the chance to publish the Persian website last month. Other than that, for me, April was the month to find a chance to make more impact.
8 Years of TEDxTehran in numbers: from data to information to experience
As the largest TEDx in the MENA region and the first TEDx in Iran, we constantly find ways to share our findings and resources with other event organizers and our community. In line with giving back to our community and making the TEDxTehran mobile application public, we are now sharing our partner’s analysis of every piece of data we had from our community of 21,000+ members.
The result was excellent! TEDxTehran’s mission, same as TED, is to share ideas worth spreading. This data study can help many event organizers design and optimize their events for the future with the help of real feedback & accurate data. This study, in one sentence, is the numeral essence of what we learned up until now.

Helping private sector in practice
A few days ago, I lectured at the Tehran Chamber of Commerce joint program with Amir Kabir University about SME marketing and branding for the class members. I’m not a teacher, so I didn’t have any syllabus with me. Instead, I took a more “advisor-like” approach and asked them their real questions.
From entrepreneurs to corporate managers, the audience discussed the real challenges of their small and medium-size companies. Then the class began. And we started having a conversation about their issues and strategies to tackle them. It was amazing. Although the time was up, they wouldn’t let me leave the class for another hour.
Work, as usual, it’s unusual!
Last month, I spent most of my time connecting organizations that I work with. Now Post Bank is sponsoring INOTEXStage 2021, and Digikala is also signing an agreement with the bank. In the coming month, we are curating INOTEXStage 2021, a four days conference where key role players of the Iran startup ecosystem are gathered to shape their collective future.
I hope I can tell you more, but all the other April news is still not to share! I just can say that awesome news is on the way!
