It’s Esfand, the twelfth and final month of the Persian calendar. Just like before Christmas, when you want to experience the “holiday spirit,” Esfand has a kind of nostalgic smell (at least for me). New year’s eve is not an evening, but it’s almost the last three weeks before the Nowruz. Between all the works I have, I can still smell Esfand. Sweet and promising… Like it assures me something good is on the way…
